WELCOME ISLA, FINIGAN BOS-ERI LA ISLA BONITA!

The long wait is finally over and I can happily say that our "little" girl has arrived! Isla arrived from Poland and is co-owned with her breeder Blanka Borowiec-Szczepanska (Finigan Akitas). We are over the moon about having her and can't thank Blanka enough for letting us have her here in Finland! Isla is a true sweetheart and has already stolen our hearts completely. We are keeping our fingers crossed that everything would go well with this girl! We are also hoping that she would be the foundation of our breeding program. Check out Isla's page for more info about this gorgeous girl and you can find more photos of her on our photos webpage. Thank you once again Blanka for everything! I hope we will make you happy and proud!

CAUSE FOR CELEBRATION!

Today we celebrated Kasper's and Tedi's 10th birthday! Because we don't know the specific day in October for Tedi's birthday we always give Kasper and Tedi a birthday party together. So the topic for the day was a double birthday party for our 10-year-old boys! The weather was not that great but this didn't matter as the dogs ran around in the forest like usual. I did take a few pics of the boys and Hera did get into few of them also. The summer came and went and we enjoyed it thoroughly despite the constantly changing weather. At last in the fall we built a run in our own yard and Hera has been using it while we are at work. We are still very much planning for our new arrival but unfortunately I don't have any specific information to share with you yet.

SUMMER AT LAST!

I designed a new layout for our website and at the same time also refreshed the content. Spring cleaning has been done! The dogs are enjoying the warming weather and all the scents spring has brought with it. All the ice has melted from the lake and we have been to the shoreline many times already. We have also made plans to build a few runs and hopefully can put the plans into action during this summer. Hera's itch has disappeared almost completely and she has gained back her beautiful coat. The sun is shining and life is smiling!

TOWARDS THE FUTURE

Hera has now been registered to the EJ register which is meant for dogs not to be used in breeding. She was also spayed about a week ago. This was the ultimate end for our breeding hopes regarding Hera. Sure the decision had been made long before this, but it still felt sad to go through it. Otherwise our life continues as normal. I still haven't made any decisions about our future female. Good things come to those who wait, at least I hope so..
