SAD NEWS
Hera was recently diagnosed with an allergy (Tyro + Lebidoglyph.) and in addition to this she had earlier developed an undershot bite when her puppy teeth changed. Because of these issues I will not use Hera for breeding. Earlier this spring Sani was diagnosed with entropion in her one eye and it was operated. I decided not to use her for breeding due to this condition. Together with Jenna we decided that we would change the co-ownerships of these dogs so that Jenna would have full ownership to Sani and I to Hera. I will have to forget my breeding plans for these two girls. At some point I will start looking for a new American Akita female to be the foundation bitch for my kennel. I ended up taking back my reservation for the female puppy we planned to import from the UK with Jenna. I want to think carefully how I want to start my breeding program now that our earlier plans did not work out.

NEW ARRIVAL, BUCKRIDGE'S TALK ABOUT
STYLE "HERA"
A beautiful American Akita girl Buckridge's Talk About Style arrived today from the USA. Hera is co-owned by me and Jenna Salonen, Kennel Hokuoukensha No, and she lives with me in Sorsakoski. Hera seems like a very happy and kind little girl, more photos will be coming up shortly.

PLANS CONFIRMED
The breeders for our three American Akitas have all been confirmed. Two female puppies will come from the UK and one from the USA. All three puppies will be co-owned with Jenna Salonen, Kennel Hokuoukensha No. They will arrive in Finland during the year 2007.
