Isla is our import from Poland and she is co-owned
with her breeder Blanka Borowiec-Szczepanska. Isla has a
very kind temperament, she is calm and easy-going indoors
and active and playful outdoors. Isla gets along well with
other dogs. She doesn't pick a fight but doesn't allow
anyone to bully her either. Isla loves the affection and
cuddles and she always gives us and her closest friends lots
of kisses. She also loves children and is very willing and
eager to act as the care bear for the children in our close
family.
We are so grateful to Blanka for trusting us
with this special girl.
This sweet lady, who has such a big personality, has
fulfilled our hopes and dreams in every way. We hope that Isla would be the
foundation for our American Akita breeding program and her
health and show results have indeed been very promising
considering our wishes for the future. The year 2011 will
be very exciting for us; we hope that it will bring us
Isla's first litter and the first litter for Kodiak Canyon
American Akitas!
